We have been thrilled to see harbor porpoise returning to the San Francisco Bay during the last two years. These playful creatures are being seen in San Francisco Bay for the first time in over 60 years. We often see them out past the Golden Gate Bridge and sometimes they get close enough that we can hear them exhale “whoosh”. Very exciting.
